Southland Conference Recognizes Five Lumberjacks on All-Academic Team

FRISCO, Texas- The Southland Conference announced the 2025 Soccer All-Academic Team and Student Athlete of the Year, Monday morning. The Stephen F. Austin soccer program had five student-athletes recognized.
Junior Brielle Buchanan, sophomore Sierra McCluer, senior Avery Brandt, sophomore Sawyer Kohutek, and sophomore Bryn Geppert were all recognized for their work in the classroom and on the pitch. McCluer, Buchanan, Geppert, Brandt, and Kohutek all earned CSC All-District Team Honors last month.
To be eligible for the All-Academic teams, student-athletes must have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA with at least one semester completed at the nominating institution and have competed in at least 50% of the team's meets.
