‘Jacks Shutout by Bulldogs in Final Midweek

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin softball team (26-24) hosted the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs (29-18).
The Bulldogs got on the board quick with two runs in the top of the first, 2-0. After a scoreless second inning, Louisiana Tech added three runs in the top of the third, 5-0. Then almost doubled their score with four runs in the fourth to take a commanding 9-0 lead. SFA got two baserunners in the bottom of the fifth but were unable to bring them home to continue the game.
SFA will finish the regular season this weekend with their final conference series against the McNeese Cowgirls beginning on Friday, April 25th at 5:30 for the Cancer Awareness Game.
