Ladyjacks will Face No. 6 Seeded TCU in College Station in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament

SFA begins their NCAA Tournament run against non-region host for the fourth time in program history and their first since 2019.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas- In the Twilight Ballroom of the Stephen F. Austin State University student center, the Ladyjack Volleyball Program and the Nacogdoches community awaited to hear where SFA was going to play in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The team heard the news very quickly as SFA was announced in the first quadrant in the College Station region hosted by No. 3 seed Texas A&M. However, the Ladyjacks did not hear their name called as the opponent for the Aggies, but rather on the other half of the region bracket set to face No. 6 seeded TCU Horned Frogs.
This will mark the first NCAA Tournament matchup between SFA and TCU and their first matchup since 2013 where TCU won 3-1 in Fort Worth.
SFA will play TCU on Friday, December 5 at 4:00 p.m. central time at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.
The 2025 NCAA Tournament marks the ninth NCAA appearance for the Ladyjacks and their fifth in the past eight seasons all under Head Coach Debbie Humphreys. The 'Jacks are looking to advance to the second round for the first time since 2006.
Tickets for the first round will go on sale, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. central time.
