
Ladyjacks Secure 13th Regular Season Title as SFA Sweeps Away Lamar

Led by a double-double from senior Camryn Hill and another 10-kill performance from Ilana de Assis the ‘Jacks secure the No. 1 seed in the SLC Tournament.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin volleyball program hosted the Lamar Cardinals with their 13th Southland regular season title on the line on senior day.
Early in the first set the Cards held a slim 3-2 lead before the Ladyjacks went on an all-out offensive as they go on an 15-2 run to take a commanding 17-5 lead. SFA won five of the final eight points to secure a dominant 25-12 first set victory.
Much like the second set in Beaumont on Thursday night, the Cardinals jumped out to a 4-1 lead early on. Team traded blows until SFA went on a 6-1 spurt to take a 17-12. Lamar got up to 19 points before committing back-to-back errors as the 'Jacks won the second set by a score of 25-19.
Once again Lamar held a slim lead early in the third set, but SFA fought back with a four-point spurt capped off by an ace from senior Jayden Flynn to take a 12-9 lead. After four-point spurt late in the match, SFA extended their lead to 24-16. Senior, Camryn Hill put a bow on senior day by securing the final kill of the match as the 'Jacks earn the sweep with a 25-18 third set score.

• Zoe Gun led the offense with 14 assists followed by senior Jayden Flynn with 12.
• Jordan Henderson recorded her ninth match this season with at least five blocks as she led the team with five.
• Caroline Kahle led the backline with 17 digs with 10 of them coming in the first set alone.
