Lumberjack Baseball Announces Schedule, Rosters for Fall World Series

General public invited to attend the best-of-5 series slated for an October 27 start
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin baseball announced the five-game schedule and team rosters in advance of the program's Fall World Series set to begin Monday from Pilgrim's Park. All games will be seven-inning affairs with the opener set for Monday, October 27 at 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Cody Templeton and Josh Ibe captain the Purple Team, while Reid Bowyer and Julian Swift lead the White Team.
Templeton led the SLC in innings pitched (87.2) during the regular season, posted a league-best three complete games, which stood as a top three mark nationally, and was twice named the SLC Pitcher of the Week. Ibe led the 'Jacks in slugging percentage (.675), RBI (46), doubles (10), home runs (14), total bases (106), walks (29) and games played (46).
Bowyer appeared in 18 games last season, all in relief, and posted a 4-1 record. He totaled 29.2 innings pitched and ranked third on the team with 31 strikeouts, including seven outings with multiple punchouts. Swift was the Lumberjacks' hit leader last spring with 56. Swift slashed .322/.368/.425, scored 33 runs, ranked behind Ibe in RBI with 35 and matched the former with ten doubles.
