Christina May is entering her first season with the Ladyjacks as an assistant coach. May joins SFA after three years of being the head softball coach at Nacogdoches High School. Previously, she worked on the coaching staff at Texas A&M-Commerce from 2014 to 2018, where she led one of the best offenses in Division II. Including a 2018 team who led all of Division II in on-base percentage, finished second in home runs per game, third in slugging percentage, fourth in scoring average, sixth in batting average and seventh in stolen bases. Prior to Texas A&M-Commerce, May worked for five years as an Associate Head Coach at West Texas A&M, where she helped coach the Lady Buffs to a 2014 NCAA National Championship and earned NFCA Division II Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
