Key Roseby named to First Team, Harmanie Dominguez named to Second Team, and Aziyah Farrier named to All-Defensive Team.
FRISCO, Texas- The Southland Conference announced All-Conference teams, Friday afternoon. The No. 3 seeded Ladyjacks had three student-athletes named to All-Conference teams.
Key Roseby earned All-Southland First Team after starting in all 31 games for the Ladyjacks this season and leads the team with 416 points and averages 13.4 per game. She is fifth in the conference in both categories. Roseby has made the second-most three-pointers on the team with 51 and the third-most free throws with 57. She shot 44.3 percent from the floor and 78.1 percent from the free throw line this season. Roseby leads the team with 212 rebounds, which ranks her fifth in the conference. 172 of those 212 rebounds have come on the defensive end. She set a new career high of 26 points against UTRGV on December 15, six assists against TAMUCC on February 12, and tied her career high with 12 rebounds against Nicholls on January 15. Roseby leads the team with 23 games with at least 10 points and has four games with at least 20 points. She also has five games with at least ten rebounds, one game with at least five assists, one game with at least three blocks, and four double-doubles this season.
Harmanie Dominguez earned All-Southland Second Team after starting all 31 games and averaging a team-high 31.2 minutes per game. She is second on the team with 403 points and averages 13.0 per game. Dominguez continued her dominance from beyond the arc with 88 made three-pointers this season, which has her ranked first in the conference and eighth nationally. She averages 2.84 threes per game, which is second in the conference and 23rd nationally. The 88 three-pointers she has made this season is one away from the 89 she made last season and is three away from breaking the SFA record for the most three-pointers made in a season. Dominguez is currently fourth in All-Time three-pointers in SFA Ladyjack history. Overall, she shoots 40.4 percent from the floor, 36.8 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.5 percent from the free throw line. Dominguez has grabbed 125 boards this season, recorded 70 assists, and 36 steals. She has 20 games with at least 10 points, four games with at least 20, one game with at least 10 rebounds, four games with at least five assists, and one double-double.
Aziyah Farrier earned All-Southland Defensive Team after pulling down 136 defensive rebounds and 198 total rebounds, which is the second most on the team. Farrier's biggest impact is with her blocking ability. She currently leads the conference with 56 blocks and is four blocks from breaking the freshman block record at SFA. With those 56 blocks, Farrier is currently tied for the seventh most blocks in a single season in SFA history. She set her career high with five blocks against three teams this season. Farrier has recorded a team-high five double-doubles this season, with seven games with at least three blocks, three games with at least five blocks, and seven games with at least 10 rebounds.
