Five Ladyjacks Named to Southland All-Academic Team

FRISCO, Texas- The Southland Conference announced the 2026 Women's Basketball All-Academic Team and Student Athlete of the Year Friday morning. Stephen F. Austin had five student-athletes recognized.
Sophomore Cha Gardner, freshman Anika Hyland, junior Lydia Cajuste, junior Myka Perry, and senior Harmanie Dominguez were all recognized for their work in the classroom and on the court.
To be eligible for the All-Academic teams, student-athletes must have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA with at least one semester completed at the nominating institution and have competed in at least 50% of the team's games.
