Cha Gardner Named Southland Conference Player of the Week

Gardner earns SFA's second player of the week of the season.
FRISCO, Texas- Sophomore forward, Cha Gardner was named Southland Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
Gardner recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the first time in her career against Hampton and Longwood in the Puerto Rico Classico. Against the Pirates, she set a new career high with 16 rebounds and added 14 points, then against the Lancers, she recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds. Overall, Gardner averaged 12.5 points per game, 13.0 rebounds per game, and 1.5 blocks per game.
