Women's Basketball Releases 2023-24 Season Schedule

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks released their 2023-24 schedule Wednesday afternoon. The Ladyjacks will have 31 games this season including 16 homes games at William R. Johnson Coliseum.
The Leonard Bishop Era begins on November 6th with ISD Day against Oklahoma Panhandle State. SFA will stay in the Sawmill for their next two games as they take on Liberty University (Nov. 10) and North Texas (Nov. 16). The Ladyjacks will travel to Houston for a matchup with Texas Southern on November 22nd, and then head back to Nacogdoches to square off against the Rice Owls on Saturday, November 25th.
The first two conference games for the 'Jacks will be played on November 29th (at Tarleton) and December 2nd (vs Abilene Christian). The most notable non-conference game for the Ladyjacks will be played in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as they play the University of Alabama Crimson Tide. SFA will come back home for a few days and then travel to Tennessee for three matches. The first match will be December 17th at Middle Tennessee State. Then the Ladyjacks will head to the Austin Peay Classic to face off against Troy (Dec 20) and Austin Peay (Dec 21). The final non-conference game will be played at the Sawmill against UNT-Dallas on December 30th.
WAC play will restart on January 4th against UTRGV in Nacogdoches. SFA will head to Arlington to matchup with the Lady Mavs on January 6th. Utah Tech and Southern Utah will travel to Texas on January 11th and 13th, respectively. The Ladyjacks will hit the road for a four-game trip against Seattle University (Jan. 18), Grand Canyon (Jan. 25), California Baptist (Jan. 27) and Utah Valley (Feb. 1).
Tarleton State will head to the Sawmill on February 3rd, then SFA will head down to Edinburg for a matchup with UTRGV on Februrary 8th. UTA will make a trip down to Nacogdoches on February 10th and then the 'Jacks will head to Abilene on February 17th. A four-game home stand will begin on February 22nd with Seattle, then February 24th with Utah Valley, February 29th with California Baptist, and finish on March 2nd with Grand Canyon. The final two games of the regular season will be in Utah as the Ladyjacks play the Thunderbirds from Southern Utah on March 7th and the Trailblazers from Utah Tech on March 9th.
The WAC 2024 Hercules Tires Basketball Tournament will be held exclusively at the Orleans Arena from March 13-16 in Las Vegas.
