Ladyjacks Release Their 2023 Schedule

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- The Stephen F. Austin softball program announced their 2023 schedule.
The season will begin at the ULL Tournament on February 10th to the 12th. SFA will host South Dakota State for their home opener on February 15th at 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The Ladyjacks will then head to Waco to play in the Baylor Tournament starting on February 17th. The first day of the tournament will be a doubleheader with the first game being against Army at 10:00 a.m. and then the second game against Baylor at 3:00 p.m. During the second day of the tournament, SFA will play Longwood at 10:00 a.m. on the 18th and then Oklahoma at 12:30 p.m.
SFA will return to Nac and host Lamar for a doubleheader on February 21st at 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The final non-conference tournament will be hosted by McNeese starting on February 24th. SFA will play McNeese on the 24th at 6:00 p.m., then they will play Ole Miss at 12:00 p.m. on the 25th and McNeese again at 2:30 p.m. on the 25th. The final game of the tournament will be on the 26th at 10:30 a.m. against Ole Miss.
The Ladyjacks will begin March with a three-game series against Incarnate Word beginning on March 3rd with a single game at 5:00 p.m. Then on March 4th there will be a doubleheader against Incarnate Word with first pitches slated for 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The next game will be on March 14th as Prairie View A&M comes to Nac for a doubleheader starting at 3:00 p.m. with the secon game scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
SFA will open conference play at home as they host California Baptist for a series starting on March 17th with a single game at 5:00 p.m. The doubleheader against CBU will be on the 18th with first pitches scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The Ladyjacks will then travel to Austin to take on Texas on March 22nd before they return home to play a series against Seattle. SFA will play Seattle on March 24th at 5:00 p.m. and then a doubleheader on March 25th at 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
The Ladyjacks will hit the road for their next five games as they travel to Southern Utah on March 31st for a doubleheader at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. They will play the final game of the series against the Thunderbirds on April 1st at 1:00 p.m. After finishing the series in Utah, SFA will head to Houston for a midweek doubleheader against the Cougars on April 4th at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
SFA will return home for a five-game home stand beginning with a game against UT-Arlington on April 7th at 5:00 p.m. The Ladyjacks will play a doubleheader against the Mavericks on April 8th at 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Texas Southern will come to town on April 11th for a doubleheader at 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The Ladyjacks will head to Huntsville and Abilene for two conference road series against Sam Houston and Abilene Christian. The Sam Houston series will begin with a doubleheader on April 14th at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., and finish with a single game on April 15th at 12:00 p.m. On April 21st, SFA will play ACU in a single game at 6:00 p.m. and then a doubleheader on April 22nd at 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
The final home series of the regular season will be against New Mexico State starting on April 28th with a single game at 5:00 p.m. Then there will be a doubleheader on April 29th at 11:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. SFA will travel to Prairie View A&M for a matchup on May 3rd. The final series of the regular season will be hosted by Tarleton beginning on May 5th with a doubleheader at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The series will finish off with a single game on May 6th at 12:00 p.m.
2023 Season Ticket Renewals are live now. Eligible fans may renew season tickets in their account by logging in at sfatickets.com. General public sales will open on Tuesday, December 27th.
