Ladyjack Softball Adds Signee Hope Lusk to Roster Ahead of 2021-22 Season

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Ladyjack softball head coach Nicole Dickson announced on Tuesday the signing of Hope Lusk to the SFA roster for the 2021-22 season and beyond. Lusk joins the SFA squad after completing her prep career at Mansfield Legacy High School in Arlington, Texas.
"I'm excited to bring in a player like Hope", said Dickson. "She's a versatile and athletic kid with a great skill set that can play middle infield as well as in the outfield. She has played at a high level on the travel ball circuit and was one of the top kids overall in the metroplex as a senior. She projects as a very balanced player that has gap to gap power as a hitter."
Lusk piled up the accolades for Legacy as a senior, earning TGCA 5A All-State honors in addition to being named to the Dallas Morning News All-Area Team, the DFW All-Metro Plex Team and the 2021 5A All-District Team. She was also her team's MVP after posting a .585 average, 31 hits, 10 runs batted in and 23 runs scored in 17 games played as a senior.
