FORT WORTH, Texas --Freshman Carson Clowers went 1-for-1 with a double and an RBI for the SFA 'Jacks in a 12-3 loss to the No. 21 TCU Horned Frogs on Wednesday.

Senior Joseph Sgambelluri (0-2) started and took the loss on the mound for SFA (3-5, ). Sophomore Jaxon Covington was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going one shutout inning without allowing a hit, walking none and striking out two.

Offensively, the 'Jacks were led by Clowers, who went 1-for-1 on the day with a double and an RBI. Junior Thylar Summarell put together a noteworthy performance at the plate as well, going 1-for-3 with an RBI.
