NACOGDOCHES, Texas – A tournament central page for the 2019 Postseason National Invitational Softball Championship (NISC) Nacogdoches Regional, hosted by SFA, is now available here. The 2019 Postseason NISC Nacogdoches Regional central page includes complete regional information with links to the tournament's bracket, each competing team's schedule, roster and statistics, in addition to the regional schedule and ticket information.
UT Arlington, fellow Southland Conference member McNeese and Middle Tennessee, along with SFA, will all converge at SFA Softball Field Thursday-Saturday, May 16-18 for the four-team, double-elimination 2019 Postseason NISC Nacogdoches Regional. For the third time in its NCAA Division I history, the SFA softball program is headed to a national postseason tournament and for the first time since the 1980's the Ladyjacks are hosting a regional. SFA (35-21) is set to face the Mavericks (30-26) Thursday, May 16 at 6 p.m. in the regional's first round, while the Cowgirls (30-30, who earned the Southland's automatic bid to the 2019 Postseason NISC, will open up the Nacogdoches Regional Thursday, May 16 at 3 p.m.
The Ladyjacks are making their second-straight Postseason NISC appearance after gaining the league's automatic bid to the national postseason tournament in 2018.
