Ladyjacks Play at Mean Green Wednesday

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin softball team heads to North Texas this week for a nonconference game at 4 p.m. Wednesday against the Mean Green. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m. but has been moved to 4 p.m.
The Ladyjacks are coming off a 1-2 weekend at Houston Baptist that saw SFA (15-17, 6-5) drop a one-run game and win another against the Huskies.
SFA lost to UNT (22-13) earlier this season at the Mean Green’s home tournament in February.
The Mean Green are coming off three losses to UAB this weekend at home. UNT was 8-1 in Conference USA play this season heading into that series with the Blazers.
As a team, UNT is hitting .301 and has five different players with 20 or more RBI. Brooke Foster has 10 home runs on the year for the Mean Green to rank 26th in the nation.
