Luetge Named To Academic All-SLC Team

FRISCO, Texas - Senior Lauren Luetge was named to the Southland Conference Academic All-SLC second team, the league office announced on Tuesday, marking the second time she has earned the honor.
Luetge, also an academic all-SLC selection in 2009, was the only Ladyjack to find her way on the squad after leading SFA in hitting with a .291 average in her first season as a position player. Her 46 hits were a team best as well, while she also finished with six doubles and 11 RBI for the year.
She spent her first three seasons at SFA as a pitcher and still made three appearances in the circle as a senior, posting a 5.60 ERA with four strikeouts in 10.0 innings of work.
A senior from New Ulm, Texas, she finished currently sports a 3.68 cumulative GPA in kinesiology.
