Shane Akin is in his second season on the SFA women's basketball staff as a graduate manager and video/analytics coordinator - a role which he began prior to the 2014-15 season. He oversees the video and analytics aspect of the program and assists the staff with film exchange, cutting and editing film for scouting purposes and other day-to-day operations.
A Chapel Hill, Texas native, Akin started his work with the Ladyjacks as a student manager for the 2011-12 season and held the position for three years. He was responsible for filming practices and games and also held numerous other day-to-day responsibilities.
Akin graduated from SFA in 2014 with a major in kinesiology.
