Head Coach Leonard Bishop announced the hiring of Martin Pazanin on December 4, 2025. In Pazanin's current role of Assistant Coach/Offensive Coordinator, he will continue to oversee basketball operations.
Pazanin joins the Ladyjacks after spending the past two seasons with the Sam Houston State Bearkats. He was an assistant coach that worked with post players. Pazanin worked with Deborah Ogayemi who was named All-Conference USA Second Team following the 2024-2025 season. He coordinated on-campus and off-campus recruiting operations, organized and presented scouting reports.
Before Sam Houston, he worked at Eastern New Mexico for one season as an assistant coach and interim head coach. While with the Greyhounds, Pazanin assisted in managing the day-to-day operations, coordinated on and off campus recruiting efforts, and assisted in constructing and implementing the team's offensive strategy.
Prior to his stint at Eastern New Mexico, Pazanin worked for one season as an operations coordinator at Loyola Marymount. He also worked for one season at Washington as a video coordinator and was a video intern at UCLA for one season.
Pazanin's first college coaching job was at Culver-Stockton College where he worked as an assistant men's basketball coach. From 2012-2019, he worked as the head coach for four different girl's high schools in Illinois.
