2018 (Junior) | Promoted to the role of weekend starter before a season-ending injury derailed his season after only three appearances...Tossed 8 2/3 frames through his three starts, giving up six runs on seven hits, 11 walks and two hit by pitch...Struck out a total of nine batters and finished the season with an ERA of 6.23...Worked a season-long four innings and tied a career-high by striking out six in a non-conference loss at UT Arlington (2/25).
2017 (Sophomore) | One of SFA's most widely-utilized relief arms in year two of his collegiate career...Worked 24 1/3 innings through 27 games and finished with a 1-3 record as well as a 5.92 ERA to show for his efforts...Gave up 27 hits, 13 walks and 20 runs while also racking up 31 strikeouts...In a season-long 2 2/3 innings of work, racked up a career-high six strikeouts in a non-conference setback at Baylor (4/18).
2016 (Freshman) | Carved out a spot for himself as a reliable middle reliever among the SFA ranks in his first season of collegiate baseball...Constructed a 3-0 record to go along with his staff-low 3.64 ERA...Threw 25 innings, giving up 17 hits, 11 runs, and 24 walks in addition to striking out 18 opposing batters...Notched a team-best batting average against of .189...Made his debut at UT Arlington where he walked two and struck out a pair in a 1.1-inning relief effort (2/21)...Collected his first collegiate win by throwing 2 2/3 innings of no-hit relief baseball in a 5-4 win at New Mexico State (3/5)...Racked up a season high four strikeouts in a career-long three-inning relief outing in a non-conference road setback at Wichita State (3/30).
Before SFA | Constructed a campaign of four letter-winning seasons at Channelview HS under the direction of head coach Clanton Vaughan…split time at three positions-first base, outfield and pitcher-through his prep career…captured All-District Honorable Mention acclaim in 2013 and 2014…was selected to represent Channelview HS in the Houston Area Baseball Associations “Don’t Drink and Drive” Poster and Campaign at Minute Maid Park…led Channelview HS to the second round of playoffs in district play as a Junior in 2014…played for three select teams, Allen Baseball, LoneStar and Legends…he also lettered for two years in football as a tight-end and wide receiver.
