A historic 11 for 12 night from Jordan Henderson secures her second in highest single match attack percentage behind teammate Kyanna Creecy.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Stephen F. Austin defeated Southeastern La. 3-0 (25-17, 25-23, 25-20) on Thursday. The Ladyjacks finished with 45 kills and a .283 hitting percentage, including 18 kills and a .405 mark in the final set. The team's hitting percentage of .283 for the game was above its season average of .2.

After the Lions scored the first point, SFA answered with seven straight to move ahead 7-1, with Avery Koonsen serving six consecutive points that included two aces and kills by Madi Zorn and Jordan Henderson. SLU stopped the run with a Kyra McKelvey kill, but SFA quickly extended the set to 13-2 behind a Henderson kill, a Caroline Kahle ace, and kills from Molly Cravens and Kennedy Jones. The Ladyjacks pushed the lead to 16-3 on two Kyanna Creecy kills around a Jones-Creecy block before the Lions worked back with a four-point stretch that cut the margin to 20-13. SFA traded points from there, reached set point on Katherine Holtman's kill and took the opening set 25-17 on a Lions attack error.

SFA scored the first two points on kills by Koonsen and Jones, but SLU answered with five straight, including two Gracie Mann service aces, to move ahead 5-2. After the Lions later led 11-8, Henderson's kill brought SFA within two, and Zorn served the Ladyjacks through four consecutive points to put them in front 13-11 before an attack error made it 14-12. SFA pushed the margin to 17-13 and later led 21-18 on a Creecy kill, but SLU tied the set at 21-21 with three straight points. Holtman answered with a kill, Zorn added a service ace, and after SFA reached set point on Koonsen's kill, Henderson finished the set from Zorn for a 25-23 win.

The third set stayed even through 5-5 before the Lions moved ahead 6-5 on a Carissa Young kill, but SFA answered with a Holtman kill, a Henderson kill and a Creecy ace on the way to a 10-7 lead. The Ladyjacks pushed the margin to 13-9 on a Cravens kill, and after SLU scored twice, a service error and consecutive SFA blocks made it 16-11. The Lions kept the set within reach at 21-19 and later 22-20, but Cravens and Holtman answered with kills to keep SFA in front. Holtman finished the set with three straight kills from Aniston Collins, giving SFA a 25-20 win.

SFA is 7-7 overall and 1-0 in Southland play. The Lions are 3-11 overall and 0-1 in Southland play.
