SFA hit .309 with 42 kills and 14 service aces while holding the Colonels to 25 kills and a .115 hitting percentage. The 14 aces exceeded SFA's season average of 5.69 and tied the season high set at McNeese on Oct. 1.

The Colonels moved ahead 5-3 in the first set before SFA answered with a block by Molly Cravens and Kyanna Creecy, a Creecy kill and an Avery Koonsen ace as part of a stretch that put SFA in front 7-5. After the Colonels got back within 7-6, Cravens and Jordan Henderson added kills to give SFA a 9-6 lead. SFA later turned an 11-8 edge into a 15-8 lead behind a Caroline Kahle ace and back-to-back Katherine Holtman kills, then pushed the margin to 21-12 on a Colonels service error, a Colonels attack error and a Kahle kill. The Colonels scored three straight points to get to 21-15, but SFA reached 24-17 on a service error and closed the set 25-18 on Kahle's kill.

Koonsen had two kills and Kahle served an ace as SFA opened the second set at 3-0, but the Colonels worked back to a 5-5 tie behind a kill and two SFA attack errors. SFA answered with Koonsen's kill, Creecy's kill, Koonsen's service ace and a Kahle-Creecy block to move ahead 9-5, then kept the margin at 15-9 after kills from Kahle and Holtman and a Henderson-Kahle block. Kennedy Jones served consecutive aces during a late push that stretched the lead to 20-12, and Kahle followed with a kill from Madi Zorn for 21-12. After the Colonels got to 24-16, Koonsen put down the final two SFA kills to close the set 25-16.

SFA built an early 4-0 lead in the third set behind a Henderson kill, two Kahle service aces and a Kahle kill, then stretched the advantage to 11-2 with a Holtman-Henderson block, two Cambry Saul aces and kills from Koonsen, Holtman and Cravens. The Colonels answered with pockets of scoring that cut the margin to 13-8, but SFA steadied the set with a Colonels service error and a Henderson block for a 15-8 lead. After the Colonels moved within 18-11, Koonsen's kill and an Izzy Orton-Creecy block pushed SFA to 20-11, and the Ladyjacks closed the set 25-13 with late kills from Cravens and Kahle, service aces by Koonsen and Creecy, and Cravens' final kill from Zorn.
