Five Ladyjacks Earn a Spot on Southland All-Academic Team

FRISCO, Texas- The Southland Conference announced the 2025 Volleyball All-Academic Team and Student Athlete of the Year Friday morning. The Stephen F. Austin volleyball program had five student-athletes recognized.

Junior Caroline Kahle, junior Kyanna Creecy, senior Jayden Flynn, senior Izabella Ortiz, and sophomore Katherine Holtman were all recognized for their work in the classroom and on the court. Kahle, Creecy, Flynn and Holtman all earned CSC All-District Team Honors last month.

To be eligible for the All-Academic teams, student-athletes must have at least a 3.25 cumulative GPA with at least one semester completed at the nominating institution and have competed in at least 50% of the team's meets.
