
Ladyjacks Sweep Away Privateers

Camryn Hill and Katherine Holtman record double figures as the ‘Jacks move to 12-1 in SLC play.
NEW ORLEANS, La.- The Stephen F. Austin volleyball program traveled to New Orleans for a Thursday night matchup.
The first set was tightly contested as neither team held more than a three-point lead until the 'Jacks went on a mini three-point run to take a 20-15 lead. SFA won back-to-back points to secure a 25-19 first set victory.
The second set followed the same trend as the first as neither team held more than a three-point lead the entire set. SFA recorded three straight kills; one from Kyanna Creecy, one from Katherine Holtman, and one from Ilana de Assis to secure a 25-22 second set victory.
A four-point spurt for the Ladyjacks gave SFA an 11-7 lead in the third set. Later UNO responded with a four-point run to cut the deficit to two, 15-13. The 'Jacks won three of the final four points to secure a 25-18 third set victory for a season sweep against the Privateers.
POSTGAME NOTES
• SFA extends their win streak to 18 and holds a 19-3 all-time record against UNO.
• Camryn Hill led the team with 13 kills and finished one dig shy of a double-double with nine.
• Katherine Holtman recorded her 17th double-figure match this season with 11.
• Jayden Flynn led the SFA offense with 24 assists.
• Caroline Kahle held down the back line with 16 digs.
• Kyanna Creecy led the net presence with five blocks.
