Stephanie Visscher Named TicketSmarter WAC Player of the Week

DENVER, Colorado --
SFA's Stephanie Visscher has been named the Western Athletic Conference TicketSmarter Player of the week following a stunning 2-0 week for the Ladyjacks.
Visscher averaged 16.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 3.5 steals in the team's two wins last week, good for a pair of double-double performances. Against Seattle, she recorded 16 points and 10 rebounds including two assists with one block. She was the co-Pilgrim's Player of the Game in Saturday's win over California Baptist, as she poured in 16 points, 12 rebounds, six steals and two blocks. She shot 57 percent from the field this week (12-21 FG).
"Team success leads to individual accomplishments and we are happy for Steph on the weekly WAC award," said Head Coach Mark Kellogg. "She had an outstanding week and we got two good home wins."
Across all Western Athletic Conference games for the Ladyjacks thus far, Visscher is averaging 15.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
SFA will be back in action tonight at Grand Canyon. Tipoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
