Ladyjacks’ Lady Demon Classic Schedule Altered Due to Weather

SFA to now play Northwestern State in non-conference matchup Thursday night at 9 p.m.
NATCHITOCHES, La. – With a strong threat of rain this weekend in the Natchitoches, Louisiana, area, the Stephen F. Austin softball team's schedule at Northwestern State's Lady Demon Classic has been altered. The Ladyjacks (3-2) will now face tournament host Northwestern State in a non-conference game Thursday night at 9 p.m.
SFA was originally scheduled to take on the Lady Demons for a second time this weekend on Sunday, Feb. 18 at 12:30 p.m.
The Ladyjacks' schedule of games on Friday, Feb. 16 remains unchanged with SFA playing Memphis at 10 a.m., followed by a non-conference tilt at Northwestern State at 5:30 p.m.
With a 90 percent chance of rain in the forecast for Saturday, Feb. 17, there may be additional changes to the Ladyjacks' weekend slate of games. However, as of late Wednesday night SFA will still play Memphis on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 12:30 p.m. and then match up against Jackson State at 3 p.m.
All games will be played at the Lady Demon Diamond on the campus of Northwestern State. Schedule updates will be announced via SFA softball's social media accounts and on the softball schedule page of SFAJacks.com.
