Softball Walk-On Tryouts Set For Oct. 6

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin softball team will be holding walk-on tryouts on Tuesday, October 6th at SFA Softball Field. Those wishing to try out must be full-time SFA students and come ready to go at 3:00 p.m.
The Ladyjacks return a wealth of talent to the 2016 roster after making a strong push for postseason play last spring. Seniors Alisa Hamilton, Heather Hollingsworth and Lindsay Campbell made a strong case to be considered one of the top outfield units in the Southland Conference while SFA’s sophomore pitcher/catcher duo of Callee Guffey and Taylor Fraccastoro was one of the best in the league last year.
