Midweek Softball At Mean Green Cancelled

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Due to heavy rainfall in the Denton area over the past week, Stephen F. Austin's softball doubleheader against North Texas set for Wednesday afternoon has been cancelled. The games will not be made up.
The Ladyjacks and Mean Green were scheduled to play two games on Wednesday afternoon in Denton starting at 3:00 p.m. The second game of the twin bill was a makeup from a contest washed out in Nacogdoches on March 4. SFA has now lost five games in 2015 due to rain.
The Ladyjacks will next play on Friday and Saturday against Southland Conference foe Northwestern State at SFA Softball Field. The three-game series is tentatively scheduled to start with a doubleheader on Friday at 1:00 p.m. The series finale is currently set for Saturday at 1:00 p.m. All times are subject to change due to potential weather in the area over the weekend.
