SFA Softball Tryouts Set For Sept. 15

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Stephen F. Austin softball will be holding walk-on tryouts on Monday, September 15th at the SFA Softball Field. Those wishing to try out must be full-time SFA students and come ready to begin the tryout at 3 p.m.
SFA is coming off a solid showing in 2014 as the Ladyjacks closed out the regular season fourth in the Southland Conference standings, including posting an 11-3 mark at home. SFA then advanced to the semifinals of the SLC tournament in Hammond, La., defeating Central Arkansas and Sam Houston State before falling to McNeese State.
