Ladyjacks Host Lady Techsters on Tuesday

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – With just three weeks left in the regular season, the Stephen F. Austin softball team will host its final nonconference game of the season on Tuesday as the Ladyjacks take on Louisiana Tech at 4 p.m. at the SFA Softball Field.
SFA (17-21) looks to bounce back from a 1-2 performance at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this weekend and remain undefeated at home against nonconference opponents this year.
LaTech (15-25) comes into the game well rested after a weekend off from Conference USA action. The Lady Techsters won their only game last week at Southeastern Louisiana 7-0.
The Ladyjacks dropped the first two games at TAMUCC last weekend, but look to take some momentum into this week by winning 4-0 in nine innings on Sunday. SFA put together a strong offensive inning to bring an end to the pitchers duel with four hits and four runs in the second extra frame.
