Ladyjack Academic Shootout Set For Wednesday

NACOGDOCHES, Texas - In what is sure to be an eventful night, the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball team will host Sam Houston State on Wednesday which will be the annual Academic Shootout Night.
The Ladyjacks will have a table set up at the front gate of the Coliseum where fans can pledge a certain amount, or can pledge on a per point basis.
All funds raised from the Academic Shootout goes to help benefit summer school classes and fifth year student scholarships for Ladyjack basketball through the SFA Alumni Association.
The Ladyjacks are currently 20-7, 10-4 on the season and are third in the Southland Conference with just two games remaining in the regular season. SFA has won five straight games overall and just clinched their first 20-win season since 2006-07.
Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday night, which will also be Senior Night for Courtney Conwright, Tammara Marion and Amina Sawyer.
