
Future Ladyjack Named NJCAA Player of the Week

NACOGDOCHES, Texas -Antoinette Carter, the most recent addition to the SFA Ladyjacks 2012-13 signing class, was named the NJCAA Division I Player of the Week Wednesday afternoon.
Carter led the Murray State College Aggies to three wins this past week, which included two mammoth double-double performances. The Tulsa, Okla. Native scored 24 points and hauled in 16 rebounds in a 68-62 win over Connors State (Okla.) and also posted 22 points and 12 rebounds to help defeat Labette CC (Kan.), 61-50.
The former Thomas Edison High School graduate was also instrumental in the Aggies' 65-64 win over Odessa College (Texas), scoring 28 points.
Carter is averaging 18.8 points per game, which is ranked 23rd in the nation, and has guided Murray State College to a 7-2 record to start the season.
