OMAHA, Neb. - The 2010 Southland Conference Co-Champion Stephen F. Austin (18-10) Ladyjack basketball team begins play in the WNIT Friday at Creighton. The Bluejays (20-10) are the runner-up from the Missouri Valley Conference. Both teams enter Friday's contest coming off similar conference tournament disappointments. The Bluejays had a season-best five game win streak snapped in the championship game of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament, while the Ladyjacks had a seven-game streak ended at the Southland Conference Championships.
Creighton will be providing free video streaming of Friday's game through its web site. Fans wishing to view the Ladyjacks' WNIT opening-round game at Creighton can do so by going to www.gocreighton.com. Friday's game is slated to tipoff at 7:00 p.m.
