Ladyjacks Fall to North Texas AP

DENTON, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball team fell to North Texas, 71-65, Fiday night in the season opener for both squads. North Texas' 35 percent from the field barely outshot SFA, but gave the Mean Green a six-point edge in Friday night's game.
The Ladyjacks (0-1) were led b LaToya Mills, who scored 19 points. The senior from Houston, Texas converted on 9-of-15 shooting for a game-high 13 points. But it wasn't enough for the Ladyjacks.
SFA (0-1) will return to action on Monday, Nov. 21, with a 7 p.m. home game against Alcorn State,
