Ladyjacks to Participate in Pumpkin Carving

Nacogdoches - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball team will be at the Nacogdoches Boys and Girls' Club Friday Oct. 21, at 4:30 p.m., to assist with pumpkin carving. It will mark the second consecutive year the Ladyjacks have participated in the pumpkin carving.
The Ladyjacks will also be accepting pumpkin donations for the Boys' and Girls' Club. Anyone wishing to donate pumpkins should call the Ladyjack basketball office at (936) 468-3208.
SFA head coach Lee Ann Riley's troops continue to stick to with the theme of `giving back to the community.' During her time at SFA, Riley's teams have been involved with the March of Dimes, reading to children at local elementary schools as well as with the Boys and Girls Clubs.
The Ladyjacks will tip off the 2005-06 season Friday Nov. 18 in Denton, Texas against North Texas. The game against the Mean Green is slated to begin at 5 p.m.
