SFA Softball To Hold Open Tryouts

SFA softball coach Jennifer Poulsen has extended an open invitation to anyone interested in trying out for the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack softball team. Tryouts will be held on the afternoon of Sept. 22 at the Coy Simms Softball Complex, located on Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, in Nacogdoches.
Any SFA student interested in trying out for the team is asked to contact the softball office prior to the end of the second week of the fall semester (Sept. 12). The softball office is located in the SFA athletic fieldhouse on the north end of Homer Bryce Stadium. The office phone is 468-4011.
Those interested in trying out must be full-time students, registered in at least 12 hours for the fall semester. If you have already registered with the NCAA Clearing House, you are asked to bring any Clearing House information to the softball offices.
Try out candidates are asked to bring gloves, appropriate shoes and bats to the tryout.
