NACOGDOCHES - The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball team kicked off the 2002-03 Southland Conference home opener with a 77-52 decision over Southwest Texas Monday night. The Ladyjacks improved to 2-7 (.286) overall and a perfect 2-0 in SLC play.
The Ladyjacks opened up the contest jumping out to a 10-5 lead before Southwest Texas went on 15-4 run, sparked by a Julie Brooks jumper at the 13:49 mark of the first half.
