Ladyjacks Wright Named Preseason All-SLC

PLANO, Texas - Senior Nathesia Wright (Arlington, Texas) was one of 10 players named to the 10-person preseason All-Southland Conference team announced the league office Tuesday. Wright was a second-team selection.
Wright is entering her final season with the Ladyjack basketball program as the team's top returning scorer. She was a 2002 All-SLC third-team selection averaging 10.0 points per game and pulling down 4.5 rebounds per game. Wright has scored 955 points in her SFA career and is only 45 points shy of becoming the 21st Ladyjack to join the 1,000-point club.
The Ladyjacks kick off the 2002-03 season Saturday Nov. 23, against Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark. The game is slated for a 7 p.m. tip off.
