The Stephen F. Austin Ladyjack basketball team moved to 3-2 on the year after going 1-2 at the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii over the Thanksgiving holiday.
The Ladyjacks dropped their first round game 67-45 to Arizona State, but bounced back to take a convincing 65-44 win over UC-Irvine in a second round game. SFA then met the University of Michigan in the third round, dropping that game, 74-49 to finish in sixth place in the eight team field.
Guard LaShinda Winters led the Ladyjacks in scoring in each of the three games, averaging 12.0 points per game for the three game event.
The Ladyjacks return home this week as they play host to the University of Maine Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. in the William R. Johnson Coliseum.
