2016 All-Southland Conference First Team (OF)

2016 (RS Senior): Drew the curtain on his collegiate baseball career by starring as one of the 'Jacks' primary threats at the dish...Saw time in 59 of SFA's 60 games and made 58 starts at a multitude of positions...His slash line of .353/.425/.555 represented SFA's best slugging percentage and the fifth-best batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage numbers among all Southland Conference players...Tied for the team lead with 77 hits which also ranked fifth in the Southland Conference... Drove in a team-high 58 runs - the third-most in among all Southland Conference student-athletes...Struck for 14 doubles, three triples, eight home runs and drew 22 walks...Finished the season second on the team with 15 stolen bases...Enjoyed a career day at Southland Conference for Sam Houston State by going 4-for-4 at the plate with four RBI, two runs scored and a pair of home runs in an 8-4 SFA victory in the series finale (4/10)...Racked up four RBI in a game on four occasions, the last of which came in an 11-1 Southland Confernece home win over Incarnate Word where he hit a grand slam (4/23)...Led SFA with 121 total bases - the fourth-most among all Southland Conference players.
