After a two-year run as a member of the Lumberjacks' pitching staff, Austin Hagy joins head coach Johnny Cardenas' staff as an assistant coach for the 2018 season.
During his time in an SFA uniform, Hagy saw time in 43 games and made four stars. Hagy helped the Lumberjacks make back-to-back appearances in the Southland Conference Tournament and earned one of his wins by firing four innings of relief in SFA's Southland Conference Tournament elimination game triumph over Lamar in the 2016 season.
Hagy, a native of Wichita Falls, Texas, graduated from Stephen F. Austin in December of 2017 with a degree in kinesiology.
