
'Jacks Host McNeese in Southland Opener

In the 41st meeting between the 'Jacks and Pokes, SFA leads the series 29-7-4.
NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Stephen F. Austin Women's Soccer heads into Southland Conference opening with a home match against McNeese at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 18.
The Lumberjacks have dominated the series, posting a 29-7-4 record against McNeese. SFA has been historically successful at the Chopping Block, with a 13-2-1 record. Last matchup, the 'Jacks took a 3-0 victory at McNeese.
SFA will host McNeese after a 1-1 draw on Sunday against Prairie View A&M in Nacogdoches. Brielle Buchanan, Taylor Dodson, and Brielle Buchanan lead the 'Jacks in goals at two. Sierra McCluer currently has 42 saves on the 2025 campaign with an 81.2% save percentage, facing 125 shots. Sydney Williams and Bryn Geppert are both the only Lumberjacks with 700+ minutes, both assisting in the previous four-game shutout streak the 'Jacks held.
