Ksenia Mamontova and Jemma Cave finish the weekend a perfect 3-0 to claim first place in the Southland Conference.
NATCHITOCHES, La. - The Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team captured first place for doubles in the SLC Fall Masters on Friday, October 25.
Ksenia Mamontova and Jemma Cave outlasted NSU, McNeese, and Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, going 6-1 in sets and outscoring their opponents 43-24, and recording a perfect 3-0 weekend to capture first in the Southland Conference. The Lumberjacks now head to San Diego, California, to compete in the ITA Conference Masters Championships from November 5 to November 8, representing the Southland and SFA in a tournament hosting 29 other conference champions.
