The Lumberjacks fell behind early, surrendering the doubles point to give the Islanders a 1-0 advantage. Antonella Taco quickly evened the match at 1-1 with a straight-set victory, sparking SFA's comeback effort.
Ksenia Mamontova and Sonja Rooth each added three-set wins to put SFA within one point of the title before Ana Paula "The Clincher" Chavez delivered the decisive blow, sealing the 4-3 victory and securing the 2026 Southland Conference Championship.
