Ana Paula Chavez powers SFA into SLC semifinals with match-clinching win
BEAUMONT, Texas – The Stephen F. Austin women's tennis team defeated the No. 5-seed UIW in the Southland Tournament quarterfinals in a 4-3 thriller on Sunday, April 19.

Ksenia Mamontova then delivered a comeback victory to give SFA its first lead of the day. With the match on the line, Ana Paula Chavez rallied after dropping the first set to secure the deciding point, clinching the 4-3 win and sending SFA to the semifinals.
