SFA picks up its sixth SLC Player of the Week honor this season, with Kohutek earning the latest nod.
FRISCO, Texas - The Southland Conference announced Sawyer Kohutek as an Honorable Mention for Defensive Player of the Week awards, Tuesday morning.
Sawyer Kohutek was awarded for her efforts following the 2-0 victory SFA had over HCU. Sunday afternoon, Kohutek pushed SFA to their eighth shutout win, as she was a dominant force on both offense and defense. Sawyer tallied two shots in the match, with four crosses on offense, while on defense she went 83% on defense duals and limiting HCU to three shots on goal.
