BEAUMONT, Texas – Stephen F. Austin women's soccer lost 1-0 in overtime against HCU in the SLC Championship on Sunday, November 9.

The Huskies of Houston Christian put up 10 shots with seven shots on goal. HCU keeper Emmy McKeon pulled in eight saves, while Olivia Rossman tallied the game-winning goal on offense. Isabella Dillow and Ella Remmy collected the assist on the Huskies lone goal.

Stephen F. Austin put up 13 shots, led by Logan Heausler and Kamrynn Davis. Sierra McCluer tallied six saves, hitting 95 saves on the year. SFA's backline held their own this afternoon, with four players recording 90+ minutes, including McCluer.

Taylor Dodson finishes the season leading in goals with six and points with 16.
Logan Heausler closes out the year as SFA's shot leader, recording 33.
Brielle Buchanan ties with Alexis Miller and Logan Heausler for assists with five.
Sierra McCluer concludes the season with 10 shutouts and 95 saves.
