The Lumberjacks 2025 Baseball Team Begins Preseason World Series

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Head coach Matt Vanderberg, in his first season with Lumberjacks, along with the 2025 baseball team will hold its five-game Purple vs. White World Series beginning Sunday, October 27th, at Pilgrim's Park.
The Lumberjacks will play a best-of-five series, and each game will be seven innings throughout the week.
The series gets underway on Sunday, October 27th, with first pitch set for 3:00 pm. Game two will be on Monday, October 28th at 4:00 pm, and game three on Tuesday, October 29th at 4:00 pm. Games four and five, if-necessary, will be played on Thursday, October 31st at 3:30 pm and Friday, November 1st at 2:00 pm.
SFA returning players Reid Boyett and Elian Balmaceda will each coach a team and act as the captain.
The Lumberjacks have quite a few new faces with Dante Turgeon, Ben Hoshizaki, Julian Swift, Ethan Adkisson, Owen Hooper, and Mark Henning as some new offensive weapons.
SFA will also feature some new faces on the mound with Cody Templeton, Kadin Munson, Blaine Zeplin, and Hayden Tronson.
The five-game series is open to the public and fans are invited to get a first-hand look at the 2025 team.
