Kyanna Creecy Named Honorable Mention SLC Defensive Player of the Week

NACOGDOCHES, Texas- Sophomore middle blocker, Kyanna Creecy, was named an honorable mention for Southland Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Creecy was a force to be reckoned with on the offensive and defensive side this week. On the defensive side, she led the team with 12 blocks; five against UNO and seven against SLU. Creecy is now fourth in the conference with 83 blocks this season and averaged 1.50 blocks per set last week. On the offensive side, she recorded 18 kills and hit .654 while averaging 2.25 kills per set. Creecy also had a record-breaking performance against UNO, recording 11 kills on 11 swings and becoming the first Ladyjack to record a 1.000 attack percentage in a match.
