Bella Ortiz and Ielan Bradley named to Lumberjack Classic All-Tournament Team

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz.- Izabella Ortiz and Ielan Bradley were named to the Lumberjack Classic All-Tournament team this past weekend.
Over the weekend, Bella Ortiz dominated, accumulating 31 kills and 7 total blocks over the three games. She had arguably her best game of the season so far in a thrilling 5-set victory over Boise State that saw the Ladyjacks come from a two set deficit to defeat the Broncos. In that match, she recorded 14 kills, 16 points, and 5 digs, all season highs. She also had 4 total blocks on the day, and she currently ranks 10th in the nation with 1.63 blocks per set, and a staggering 44 total blocks, which ranks 2nd in the nation. Ortiz has been amazing for SFA this season, and this is her third straight All-Tournament team. She's been a monster up front for the Ladyjacks, and her play will be vital for them with conference play fast approaching.
Not to be outdone was Ielan Bradley, who also played some great volleyball over the weekend. She accumulated 36 kills, 41 points, and 10 total blocks across the three matches. Bradley has been a consistent force for the Ladyjacks this season, recording double-digit points and kills in 7 of the 10 matches so far this season. She currently leads the team in total points, total kills, points per set, and kills per set. She will look to continue her amazing play into conference competition.
The Ladyjacks finished the tournament 2-1, with their only loss coming to undefeated Arizona State on Saturday. They'll look to continue their strong play next weekend in the second SFA Tournament as they host Sam Houston, Tulsa, and Ole Miss.
