Cal Martin Named WAC Hitter of the Week

ARLINGTON, Texas- The Western Athletic Conference named Stephen F. Austin junior infielder, Cal Martin, Hitter of the Week the league announced Monday afternoon.
Martin, a junior infielder, batted .571 with a home run, nine RBI and two runs scored for SFA in a week that included a series victory against California Baptist. Martin batted 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI in a 13-6 victory to even the series on March 18. Martin opened the rubber match with a first-inning grand slam, finishing with three hits and five RBI in a 10-9 win to close the series on March 19.
